We are made OF MUSES

"The muse whispers to your heart, dances in your thoughts, and inspires your soul to create the extraordinary."

Elisa Marie

My life has been a dance with pain. Since the age of 10, I've struggled with chronic pain and migraines. I couldn't understand that journey for the longest time. I then fell in love, married young, and mothered young, spending my entire 20s pregnant or nursing, with very little sleep and maybe a dash of madness, all while continuing to battle pain. After weaning my last child during Covid, I was sent into a soul-searching descent. I found myself asking: "Who am I? What do I really believe? How am I in charge of raising four real humans? Who gave me this power? Do I want it? Do I respect it?” And I descended into those questions for a long while.

And it was hard.

I look back now and am so grateful for that period of my life. It became a catalyst for new depth, and growth I could never have imagined before. I discovered breath work, intuitive dancing, somatic healing, community. I tended to childhood wounds and opened myself up to the mystery and depths of this life—even the pain and with it the beauty of the breakdown.

I see myself as a bridge. I believe my purpose is to share these modalities and connect people to what is here to help us in these bodies. I have a deep desire for women to come together, for mothers to feel supported, and for everyone to just hold the reality of freedom in their bodies.

I love the word Muse. A muse is a person or personified force who is the source of inspiration, and I believe in having them in our ancestors to look up to, surrounding ourselves with friends who inspire, and being one to our own self.
